The group stages of the Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup conclude today in Dubai and the home fans will be in celebratory mood as UAE qualified for the semi finals on Wednesday with a match to spare.
UAE find themselves among the sport's elite in the knockout stages with World Champions Russia, Tetracampeão Brazil and European runner-ups Switzerland also qualifying for the last four.
In today's action winless Oman and Mexico will be playing for pride when they get things underway at 12:30 (GMT), as will Tahiti and Nigeria in their game at 13:45.
The top four play later in the afternoon with Switzerland taking on Brazil at 15:00 before UAE and Russia take to the sand at 16:15.
