Chen Long will be hoping that his home fans will once again cheer him on to glory when he defends his China Open title this week.
The China Open takes place from Tuesday November 22 until Sunday November 27 and is part of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Super Series.
Long sent the home fans wild in 2010 when clinched his first ever China Open title success.
His route to glory included a controversial walkover win over Lin Dan, followed by a semi-final victory over Chen Jin before seeing off China team-mate Bao Chunlai in the Final.
Long will now be hoping to make it back-to-back wins in China and will be counting on the thousands of fans in attendance to spur him on.
In the women’s section, Jiang Yanjiao made sure it was a clean sweep in the singles category for the home nation as she picked up her third China Open title in row.
Yanjiao shocked everyone by completing her hat-trick by adding to her 2008 and 2009 success, and she will be determined to make it an amazing four in a row this week.
