China's shuttlers once again demonstrated their prodigious badminton talent by dominating the Li Ning China Open qualifiers on Tuesday, and claiming eight of the 16 main draw places up for grabs.
Amongst the qualifiers were Indonesia Open Grand Prix Gold mixed doubles champions He Hanbin-Bao Yixin, who will meet top seeds and world champions Zhang Nan-Zhao Yunlei in the first round.
He Hanbin-Bao Yixin lost out to their opponents in the quarter-finals of the Hong Kong Open on Friday last.
Also in the main draw are Jiaming Tao-Xia Huan, Bin Qiao, Wen Kai and Lu Yi, as well as Hong Kong’s Chan Yan Kit.
Australians Ross Smith-Glenn Warfe qualified following the withdrawal of their first and second qualifying round Thai opponents Patipat Chalardchaleam-Nipitphon Puangpuapech and Bodin Issara-Maneepong Jongjit.
