Rajiv Ouseph will be flying the flag for England this evening when he goes up against Peter Gade for a place in the final of the Yonex Copenhagen Masters.
Ouseph kept his title ambitions alive with a victory over talented Dutchman Eric Pang and will now fancy his chances when he goes up against Gade on Wednesday night.
In his clash against Pang, Ouseph controlled the first set before Pang fought back to level matters. Ouseph then regained his composure to take the third set.
Ouseph said: “I thought I played quite good in the first game and the third game. In the second game I lost a bit of concentration, I think.
“Maybe it went a little bit too slow and Eric capitalized on that and managed to win that game. Overall I think I was quite pleased.
“It’s obviously a very tough game. Peter has won here a lot of times and I’ve played him quite a few times where he has beaten me every time, so it’s going to be a tough game, but I’ll give it my best shot.”
