The Petron Blaze Boosters and the Ginebra Kings start their campaign in the PBA Commissioner's Cup on Sunday.
Petron is eager to bounce back after being eliminated by Talk N Text in the semifinals of the recent PBA Philippine Cup.
The Boosters tapped the services of former NBA player Nick Fazekas as their import. He will join forces with homegrown stars Arwind Santos, Alex Cabagnot, Chris Lutz and Danny Ildefonso.
Ginebra, meanwhile, underwent some changes in the off season. They welcome Kerby Raymundo from B-Meg and Dylan Ababou from Barako. Gone are Ronald Tubid (Barako), Reil Cervantes (Barako) and JC Intal (B-Meg).
Back to lead the Kings are Mark Caguioa, JayJay Helterbrand, Enrico Villanueva and Mike Cortez. Reinforcing the Kings is Chris Alexander, who led them to the 2008 Fiesta Conference title.
