Rain Or Shine and Powerade Tigers duel in Game 3 of their best-of-seven semifinal duel in the PBA Philippine Cup on Sunday.
The series is tied at 1-1 after the Tigers beat the Elasto Painters 121-113 in last night's Game 2.
Gary David and Marcio Lassiter combined for 62 points to power the eighth-ranked Tigers to victory. David topscored with 32 points - his fourth-straight 30-point game - while Lassiter added 30.
It was a breakthrough performance for Lassiter after the prized rookie was held to only two points in Game 1.
"I think the key in winning the game was Marcio's contribution," Powerade coach Bo Perasol told reporters after the game.
"I challenged him to answer questions by media why he has been missing when it comes to critical games. And that's how he answered - with a resounding offensive game."
Sean Anthony also made his presence felt as the Filipino-American forward finished with 11 points and 15 rebounds. Doug Kramer and JV Casio also gave Perasol quality minutes.
Ronjay Buenafe led Rain or Shine with 25 points while rookie Paul Lee and Larry Rodriguez added 23 and 20 points, respectively.
