The "El Clasico" version of the Liga ACB unfolds on Wednesday as rivals Real Madrid and Regal FC Barcelona face off.
Barca leads the team standings with an 11-2 record, just ahead of Unicaja (10-3) and Real Madrid (10-3).
Regal is coming off a 74-61 victory over Assignia Manresa. It was a morale-boosting win for the defending Liga ACB champions following their 60-71 defeat to Caja Laboral in the previous round.
They also demolished Galatasaray 79-50 in their last Euroleague game.
Out to lead the club in the absence of injured star Juan Carlos Navarro are Erazem Lorbek and Chuck Eidson. Manning the shaded area is Senegalese center Boniface Ndong, who hauled down 11 rebounds in their last game. Backing them up are Marcelinho Huertas, Pete Mickeal and Fran Vazquez.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, is struggling as of late. They have lost two of their last three games. In the last round, they bowed to FIATC Joventut 75-78. Real, however, is on a roll in the Euroleague.
Out to lead the team are Nikola Mirotic, Jaycee Carroll and Spanish national team mainstays Sergio Llull and Felipe Reyes. Other notable players in the team are Martynas Pocius and Ante Tomic.
