Talk N Text out to bounce back versus B-Meg Llamados in PBA Commissioner's Cup final.
Talk N Text is seeking redemption against the B-Meg Llamados in Game 4 of their final series in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
B-Meg took a 2-1 lead in their best-of-seven duel after beating the Texters 91-87 last Friday.
Import Denzel Bowles powered his way to 28 points and 13 rebounds and had six blocks in another monster performance for the Llamados.
Bowles scored his team's last four points, including free throws that gave the Llamados a 90-86 lead with 15.8 seconds remaining. Overall, he scored 15 points in the final period.
It was a breakthrough performance for Bowles, who made a crucial error en route to their defeat in Game 2.
B-Meg coach Tim Cone, who is seeking his first ever title as Llamados mentor, was all praises for his prized import.
“One thing that amazes me about Denzel is his resilience. He’s come back with monster game every time he had a subpar performance the previous game," Cone told interaksyon.com.
"He kept on hitting big shots. We’re lucky we kept him in the game despite playing with five fouls with still more than five minutes left in the game."
James Yap added 21 points while Josh Urbiztondo and PJ Simon chipped in 12 points apiece for B-Meg.
Donnell Harvey led Talk N Text with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Ryan Reyes also had 21 points while Ali Peek had 15 points and 11 rebounds.
