Action in the Korean Basketball League continues today as the Wonju Dongbu Promy host the Jeonju KCC Egis.
The hosts lead the team standings with three wins in as many games. The Promy have so far posted wins over Anyang KGC (67-65), ET Land (83-64) and Daegu Orions (69-52).
American import Rodrigue Benson is the team's top player, averaging 17.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and two blocks in their first three games. National team mainstay Kim Joo-Sung is another player to watch as he is norming 15.3 points, six rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game. Other players to watch for in the Kang Dong-Hae-mentored club are Yoon Ho-Young, Park Ji-Hyon and Hwang Jin-Won.
Out to stop them are the Egis, currently in tied second place with a 2-1 record. The defending champions, coached by national mentor Hur Jae, is out to bounce back after losing to ET Land 76-79 in the last round.
Back to lead the club are import DeShawn Sims and Korean-American Tony Akins. Forwards Kim Tae-Hong and Choo Seung-Gyun are also solid contributors along with 7'3" behemoth Ha Seung-Jin.
