The four players in action on Monday are Skelton, Robert Weale, Mark Dawes and Les Gillett with Skelton looking to prove his champion material.
Skelton currently sits in joint fourth place with 350 points and he knows if he manages to pick up 51 points or more on Monday he will jump ahead of Jason Greenslade, Billy Jackson, Robert Paxton and Nick Brett to lead the way.
Gillett is in fifth place with 325 and he too will be looking for a good points haul, while Dawes is in eight spot with 275 points and Weale is down in 16th with a total of 100.
The opening game of the day sees Weale and Dawes take to the floor at 0800 BST, while Skelton and Gillett renew their rivalry an hour later.
