The second round of the PDC World Championship Darts comes to a head today with sessions in the afternoon and evening.
Lloyd and Rand will lock horns in the final game of the afternoon session with a spot in the third round awaiting them.
Lloyd, who goes by the nickname of Jaws, was world number one earlier in his career but has since slipped down to 15th. His best showing in this Alexandra Palace tournament was a semi-final appearance back in 2002.
Jaws booked his place in round two of the PDC World Championship Darts with a 3-1 win over American Darin Young.
Rand is a relatively unknown on the pro circuit after joining the PDC in 2010 and he is currently 43rd in the world. He booked his passage into round two with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Andy Smith.
Lloyd has all the experience in the world but he seems to lack the killer instinct that his nickname suggests. Rand is seen as the favourite and can be backed at 4/6 with Ladbrokes, while Jaws is on offer at 6/5.
Accurate scoreline betting is very popular in the PDC World Championship and you can get odds of 15/2 that Lloyd pulls off a 4-1 triumph, while Rand is on offer at 4/1 to take the game all the way for a 4-3 win.
