Ted 'The Count' Hankey takes on Michael van Gerwen tonight at Wolverhampton's Civc Hall in a cracking last-16 Grand Slam of Darts shoot-out.
Hankey qualified for the second round in superb fashion with a 5-3 victory over Ian White, which included a 161 checkout amongst two bullseye finishes as he averaged over 100.
Van Gerwen, topped his group and the 144 he took out in his match with Tony O'Shea was as good as it gets, so this certainly won't be all one way traffic for two-time BDO world champion Hankey.
Hankey v Van Gerwen is probably the pick of tonight’s second-round matches at 20:00, but Gary Anderson's clash with James Wade at 21:00 should also be a close contest.
Dean Winstanlye and Mark Walsh get things underway at 19:10 and this first round of last 16 matches is wrapped up by Terry Jenkins v Wayne Jones at 21:00.
