World number three James Wade will be hoping to take advantage of Phil Taylor’s exit when he battles Steve Farmer for a place in the quarter-finals at the PDC World Championship Darts.
Watch the World Championship Darts live streamed online for free at Ladbrokes if you are in the UK (use promo code MAXIMUMBONUS) or bet365 if you live outside the UK.
The third round will conclude on Thursday with the remaining six matches split across two sessions at Alexandra Palace.
Wade, who goes by the nickname of The Machine, will be looking to keep throwing neat darts as he looks to add Farmer to his list of conquests this year that include Petri Korte and Jelle Klaasen at Alexandra Palace.
Farmer, who uses the moniker The Train, is ranked 40th in the world. He has already defeated Ronnie Baxter and Kevin Munch but will have to play the best he has ever done to see off Wade.
Wade is the obvious odds on favourite to reach the quarter-finals and he can be backed at 1/14 with Ladbrokes, while Farmer is a 7/1 shot to cause an upset.
Scoreline betting is very popular and you can back Wade to cruise to a 4-0 win at 7/4, while Farmer is available at 33/1 to shock Wade and dump him out 4-1.
