The Ladbrokes.com World Championship gets underway on Thursday with defending champion Adrian Lewis kick starting his campaign against Nigel Heydon.

The Stoke ace tops the bill on the opening night, as he opens his bid for a second world crown against Leamington Spa thrower Heydon at 10pm.
Heydon, an Undertaker by day, adopts a unique throwing style which sees him lean extremely forward and methodically throw each dart.
He caused problems for rapid thrower Gary Anderson at the Grand Slam and could affect Lewis's rhythm on the biggest stage of all.
Lewis however missed out on the Players Championship Finals and has been putting the hours in on the practice board; his high scoring and big finishes could prove too hot to handle for Heydon.
The opening game of the tournament sees Jamie Caven take on Roland Scholten; Caven is renowned for struggling on the big stage, but will be hoping to see off Scholten, who is slowly returning to form following a lengthy shoulder injury.
That match is followed by a preliminary round tie between Scott MacKenzie and PDC Youth star Paul Barham, for the right to face Wayne Jones in the night's final game.
Arguably the match of the night sees two Welsh stars collide as world number six Mark Webster faces the resurgent Richie Burnett at 9pm.
The duo are likely to represent Wales at next year's World Cup, but go head-to-head in a potential classic at Ally Pally.
Action gets underway at 7pm and will be streamed live from the Alexandra Palace, London over the best of five sets (best of five legs per set).
