Following last year's inaugural event, the second Cash Converters World Cup of Darts will be staged at Hamburg's Alsterdorfer Stadthalle from February 3-5, featuring 24 two-man teams from around the world.

The unique televised event will feature a combination of both doubles and singles matches over three days of play.

Defending champions Holland feature a quick-fire duo of Raymond van Barneveld and Vincent van der Voort, while 1/2 tournament favourites England boast a formidbale duo of Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis.

Jackpot and The Power have won a staggering 17 world titles between them and will be out to avenge the early exit suffered in the 2010 event.

Formerly practice partners, the duo are now fierce rivals on the oche, but are set to join forces in the unique £150,000 tournament in an attempt to bring darting glory to England.

Premier League champion Gary Anderson and Peter 'Snakebite' Wright fly the flag for Scotland; the heavy scoring pair will be definite title contenders but must first prevail from a tricky first second round tie against either Spain or South Africa.

Australia's pairing of Simon Whitlock and Paul Nicholson remains unchanged, with the duo likely to pose a realistic threat should they continue their recent individual form.

Wales' incredible run to the final in 2010 was one of the major shocks, this time around the side will feature resurgent former world champion Richie Burnett, alongside world class left-hander - Mark Webster.

The tournament sees the return of Spanish stars Antonio Alcinas and Carlos Rodriguez, who made the headlines in the 2010 event by dumping our James Wade and Phil Taylor of team England.

They are among a host of potential dark horse teams, which include Belgium, Canada and Northern Ireland.

Action gets underway on Friday afternoon with selected matches streamed live online.
