Phil "The Power" Taylor has been sensationally dumped out of the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship, costing punters half a million quid.

His conqueror Dave Chisnall was an 11/2 chance to spring an unlikely upset and is now just 8/1 to go all the way and win the final on 2 January.
 
Last year's runner-up Gary Anderson is the new 3/1 favourite for the title with James Wade (9/2), Adrian Lewis (5/1) and Simon Whitlock (7/1) all now slashed.
