Mervyn King needs to beat Phil Taylor at the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton's Civic Hall tonight in order to guarantee he remains in the tournament.
With Steve Beaton expected to win against youngster James Hubbard in the other group match earlier in this evening’s session, King simply has to triumph to ensure he joins Taylor in the next round.
The good news for King is 'The Power' has yet to average a ton in the tournament and doesn't seem to have gotten into his stride just yet.
Taylor's 5-1 and 5-3 wins over Hubbard and Beaton look comfortable on paper, but he didn't display his usual sharpness, especially on doubles.
That said, doubles have been been a bit of a disaster for Mervyn at this tournament. He is scoring well enough though, and if he can improve his accuracy, we could be in for an interesting contest when these two take to the oche at 22:30 (GMT).
