Birmingham City need nothing short of a miracle tonight if they are to qualify for the latter stages of the Europa League when they host Maribor.
Championship side Birmingham City must win against Maribor and hope Braga pick up nothing to harbour any chance of qualifying for the knockout phase. However, it is unlikely as they are seven goals behind second-place Braga on goal difference.
Birmingham sit in third-place, three-points behind Braga, and have scored seven and conceded eight in five games.
Maribor have so far managed just one-point and sit bottom of Group H in the Europa League.
Last time out Birmingham were beaten 1-0 by a fluky goal, but it could have been different if lanky striker Nikola Zigic had scored an early penalty.
Maribor have conceded 14 goals this far, two of which came against Birmingham when the two-sides met earlier in the competition.
