Borussia Dortmund will look to maintain top spot in the Bundesliga when they host Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
Borussia Dortmund have started strong in 2012, winning all three of their games since Christmas – the first time for the club since 1991.
Last week the reigning champions defeated Nuremberg 2-0, with goals from Sebastian Kehl and Lucas Barrios. The result maintained their place at the top of the Bundesliga table, with 13 points from the last five games.
Leverkusen also bagged a brace over the weekend, courtesy of goals from Stefan Kiesling and Simon Rolfes against Stuttgart.
That might have been the end of it, but a red-card for Michal Kadlec in the 63th minute gave Stuttgart a chance to even the scores, finishing the match 2-2.
Leverkusen sit in sixth place, although they have only managed six points from their last five games.
