California derby pits CD Chivas USA against San Jose Earthquakes in MLS
The Major League Soccer continues on Thursday featuring the California derby between CD Chivas USA and the San Jose Earthquakes.
Chivas is struggling this season, winning only once in its past eight matches. Out to lead the home side is Nick LaBrocca, who scored in their 1-1 draw against Chicago last Saturday.
San Jose, meanwhile, has lost only once in its last nine outings. Steven Lenhart is again the player to watch for the Earthquakes after improving his tally to five goals this season following their 2-2 draw against the New York Red Bulls last Saturday.
Bobby Burling and Alejandro Moreno, however, will miss their match against Chivas. Burling is suspended while Moreno is on national duty with Venezuela in the Copa America.
