Rennes resume their pursuit of Ligue 1’s top four when they make the trip to Caen on Saturday night.
Rennes are currently fifth in France’s top tier with a record of nine wins, five draws and five losses leaving them three points behind Lyon in the division’s only Europa League qualifying berth.
They ended a five-game winless run in all competitions by beating Bordeaux before the Christmas break, and they made a winning return from the interval by beating Nancy in the cup last weekend. Rennes will now have their sights on three more points to keep the pressure on Lyon and are 6/4 to get them here.
Caen are battling at the other end of the table with a record of five wins, five draws and nine losses leaving them in 14th place.
They head into the second half of the season just two points clear of the relegation zone and are desperately in need of points. Caen are 19/10 to collect three of them from this match, while the draw is priced 21/20.
