Chelsea have gone from title to top-four contenders in the space of just a few weeks and their credentials for the latter will be tested when Fulham visit Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.
The stats bode well for the home side. The Cottagers haven't won at Stamford Bridge in England's top tier since 1964 and they've only beaten Chelsea once in 30 meetings.
Fulham come into this game on the back of a humiliating 5-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United, while Andre Villas-Boas' side earned a creditable 1-1 draw at Spurs, which leaves the Blues unbeaten in five league matches.
Expect Chelsea's top scorer Daniel Sturridge (9) to torment Fulham's defence and he could be partnered by Fernando Torres up front. With the January transfer window fast approaching, the Spanish international has very few games left to produce the goods for Chelsea if the rumour mill is to believed.
Fulham's best chance of threatening the Chelsea rearguard comes from the the aerial threat of Clint Dempsey. Chelsea have struggled to defend to defend against set pieces this season.
Branislav Ivanovic and John Obi Mikel are doubtful for the game with muscle injuries, while Ramires is banned, though David Luiz expects to return from a knee injury.
