Barcelona play host to Real Madrid this weekend in the biggest game of the season, with the Camp Nou clash between these two giants potentially deciding who wins La Liga this season.
Real Madrid go into the game as odds-on favourites to win Primera Liga, but Barca know that a win in front of their own fans will see them reduce the gap at the top of the table to just one point with four games left to play.
But should Los Blancos return to the Spanish capital having taken all three points, then it looks highly unlikely that Pep Guardiola's side will be crowned champions.
Ahead of Saturday night's El Clasico clash and with five La Liga matches left to play, Real have 85 points, while Barca are on 81.
Both sides go into the game having lost in the Champions League in midweek. Real Madrid lost the first leg of their semi-final tie 2-1 at Bayern Munich, while Barca lost 1-0 at Chelsea on Wednesday night despite enjoying 72 per cent of possession over the ninety minutes.
But both sides won their last game in the Spanish league, as Real Madrid came from a goal down last weekend to beat Sporting Gijon 3-1 at the Bernabeu - with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his 41st goal of the campaign - while Lionel Messi also made it 41 league goals for the campaign as Barca beat Levante 2-1.
Barca head into Saturday's El Clasico clash as odds-on favourites with the bookmakers to take all three points, while bookmakers are also odds-on that both sides will score at some point during the game. Guardiola's men are expected to play a more attacking game than usual as they look to keep the pressure on Jose Mourinho's side at the top of the table.
