FC Twente resume their pursuit of the Dutch Eredivisie’s top two when they host RKC Waalwijk on Saturday.
FC Twente are currently third in Holland’s top flight with a record of nine wins, six draws and two defeats leaving them level on points with Ajax, four behind second-placed PSV Eindhoven and five behind leaders AZ Alkmaar. FC Twente went into the mid-season break in miserable form having suffered three straight defeats in all competitions, but they are 1/4 to bounce back with a win here.
RKC Waalwijk are battling at the other end of the table with a record of five wins, three draws and nine losses leaving them just six points clear of the relegation zone. They went into the break in positive fashion with back-to-back wins – one in the league and one in the cup – and RKC Waalwijk are 11/1 outsiders to make it three straight victories. The draw is 9/2.
