2007 Caribbean Cup winners Haiti were a shade unfortunate in their opening match against a strong Honduras side, going down 1-0 despite a tough and resolute performance. Jairo Rios and his side now have a better opportunity to show what they can do against a weak Grenada.

Grenada were beaten heavily in their opening match, by a USA side who were playing at a canter. Tommy Taylor’s side look out of their depth in the competition, their first ever major tournament. Although Haiti perhaps lack the firepower of USA, they are still a very well organised outfit and a reasonable attacking force, meaning that they should record a win against the ‘Spice Boys’ to give themselves a chance of reaching the last eight.
