League leaders Real Madrid are in action on Sunday evening as they look to move a step closer to winning the La Liga title.
Real Madrid – clear at the top of La Liga – will hope to do better against Levante this week, after stumbling to a 1-0 victory over Getafe.
Sergio Ramos' 18th minute goal separated the two sides, although the free-flowing football Madrid are famed for was banished in a scrappy encounter.
Madrid never looked nervous, however, and it was clear from the foal that only one side was leaving the Coliseum Alfonso Perez as winners.
Levante had a bigger mishap in their match against Racing Santander last week, drawing with the 18th-placed side.
A goal from Arouna Kone put the home side out, was the advantage cancelled out by a second-half strike. Levante now trail Madrid by 23 points and a massive 50 goal difference.
Other matches on show from Spain’s elite league include Malaga versus Mallorca, Rayo Vallecano against Getafe, Valencia are at home against Sporting Gijon and Villarreal take on Granada.
