The mercurial Argentine and co welcome Espanyol to Camp Nou for a Catalan derby in what will mark Pep Guardiola's last home game in charge as manager of the club.
Valencia meanwhile, can take a major stride towards claiming the final automatic Champions League place with a win at home to Villarreal, who despite reaching the Europe League final, have yet to secure their La Liga status for next season. Villarreal are four points above the drop zone in 16th place.
Fourth-placed Malaga, who trail Valencia by three points are also vying for automatic Champions League qualification, face Atletico Madrid in the Spanish capital.
Only six points separates the sides from sixth to 14th leaving the race for Europa League qualification wide open.
Sixth-placed Real Sociedad travel to Osasuna (9th), while Athletic Club (8th) challenge Getafe (12th) and Mallorca (7th) take on Levante (5th).
Elsewhere on Saturday evening, Sevilla host relegation-threatened Rayo Vallecano, Real Zaragoza face Racing Santander and Sporting Gijon take on to Real Betis.
