The FA Cup draw has thrown up an enticing fourth round clash between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield on January 28.
After the controversy that followed United's last visit to Anfield, there is a little extra spice for this encounter. Patrice Evra's complaint against Luis Suárez led to the Football Association banning the Uruguayan international for eight games, damaging the Reds Champions League qualification ambitions in the process.
Suárez will not be available for the tie but could feature in a replay if required. His absence has been felt in recent matches, with Liverpool looking much less creative up front and struggling to convert pressure into points at Anfield in the league.
But with Steven Gerarrd's return to fitness and form, and by committing his future to the club, he has eased the pressure on manager Kenny Dalglish.
Paul Scholes could make an unexpected return to Anfield after coming out of retirement in what should be a cracking contest.
