Japan will be looking to boost their chances of reaching the 2012 London Olympics when they take on Malaysia in qualifying today.
The Japanese dropped to second in Group C following a 2-1 to Syria last time out. The Asian giants are level on points and goals difference with the Syrians, however the latter lead the group by virtue of having scored more goals.
Malaysia are bottom of the group, having lost all four games to date, which includes a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Wednesday's opponents in the reverse fixture last September.
Whilst Japan has qualified automatically for the last four Olympic Games, they may have to endure a play-off next month should they fail to win the group, so should come out all guns blazing when this on gets underway at 1300 GMT.
