Nice are struggling to pick up points and could suffer another defeat when they take on Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.
Nice are currently sitting in the bottom three of Ligue 1 and are in a precarious position, having played one match more than all of their relegation rivals. Midfielder Eric Sable has, however, claimed that the players still believe that they will be able to save their top flight status.
"There are sixteen pressure-filled games before us,'' Sable said. "A series of difficult matches, not easy to address. For me, the fight will take place between six to eight clubs, and every point will be precious.
"We need to do well in our games at home, even in the big matches like the one on Sunday.
"I do not sense a resignation in the group, far from it. But we have to know the fight will be difficult and long, and it might be that it goes all the way to Lyon on the final day."
Things don't look like getting any better for Nice on Sunday as they have a tough home match with high flying Paris Saint-Germain. The league leaders are a very generous 10/11 at
bet365 to win in the Stade Municipal du Rey and that looks like one of the bets of the weekend.
