The controversial plans to end relegation from the Barclays Premier League are unlikely to happen anytime soon, according to William Hill.
Some bookies are already offering 10/1 odds that relegation is abolished before the start of the 2016/17 season and even go 11/2 that the number of teams relegated from the Premier League each season is reduced from three by the same date.
William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly told Bettingpro.com: “These proposed changes have not gone down well at all with supporters of non-Premier League clubs and we think that the FA will share these concerns and veto any approach to eliminate relegation.”
