Preston will be looking to move out of the relegation places tonight when they take on fellow strugglers Hull City at Deepdale on Friday evening.

Preston boss Darren Ferguson will still be smarting from his side’s last minute 2-1 defeat at the hands of Barnsley in midweek and will be hoping his players bounce back immediately.

The Tigers can also move out of the bottom three with a win and they will have been boosted by their late point at Leeds on Tuesday as they managed to secure a 2-2 draw.

Preston, who could be without Billy Jones because of a virus, welcome back on-loan striker Iain Hume to the starting line-up after being unable to face his parent club Barnsley on Tuesday.

Hull, who have failed to win any of their last eight matches, are without the suspended John Bostock, while Craig Fagan, Caleb Folan, Paul McShane and Jimmy Bullard are all still missing through injury.
