Rennes continue their quest for a top-four finish when they host Sochaux on Saturday in Ligue 1.
Rennes are currently sixth in France’s top flight with a record of 10 wins, six draws and six losses leaving them just three points off the European places.
Their top-four challenge has taken a hit in recent weeks as the followed up a loss to rivals Marseille with a draw against struggling Nancy, but they did return to winning ways in midweek, beating Evian TG in the Coupe de France.
