Sparta Rotterdam and FC Volendam face off in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on Friday evening and you can watch it live.
Round 3 of the Dutch Eerste Divisie kicks off today as Sparta Rotterdam battles FC Volendam at Het Kasteel Stadium.
Both teams posted mixed results in their first two matches.
Sparta Rotterdam began the season with a 1-0 victory over Fortuna Sittard. Cape Verde international Toni Varela nailed a penalty in the 13th minute to lead Sparta to victory. In their second outing, however, Sparta lost to Helmond Sport 2-3. Jaime Bruinier gave Sparta the lead in the 12th minute but Helmond responded with three goals in the second half. Joshua John answered back for Sparta in the 90th minute but that proved to be the closest that the Rotterdam side could get back in the match.
Volendam, meanwhile, started the new season with a goalless draw against Dordrecht but bounced back with a 2-0 win over MVV in the last round. Jack Tuyp scored Volendam's two goals.
