FC Barcelona Intersport's clash with Montpellier is undoubtedly the tie of the round as the Last 16 Velux EHF Champions League action continues.
Defending champions FC Barcelona Intersport are the most successful side in the competition having won seven Champions League titles (1995/1996, 1996/1997, 1997/1998, 1998/1999, 1999/2000, 2004/2005, 2010/2011), while Montpellier have won the title just once (2002/2003).
This is the 15th season Barcelona have participated in the Champions League and impressively they've reached the semi-finals on 10 occasions, compared with the Frenchs side's 14 appearances and two semis.
The last time the teams met in the competition was in the Last 16 in 2006/2007. Montpellier won the first leg at home 28:25, but were eliminated when the Catalans won the second leg 29:23 at Palau Blaugrana.
Barcelona are clear favourites for this one after winning Group A with nine victories in ten matches, although Montpellier will be out to avenge their 2007 defeat.
