The IHF World Women's Handball Championship reaches the knockout stages today with four matches being streamed live from Santos and Barueri in Brazil.
Three-time defending champion Russia and Iceland will clash in the opening match. The Russians topped Group B with a perfect five wins in five matches. Iceland, meanwhile, finished fourth in Group A with six points.
Group A winner Norway will face Group B fourth placer Netherlands. The Norwegians finished their group stint with a 4-1 record while the Dutch earned four points.
In other matches, South Korea will face Angola while Montenegro will take on Spain. South Korea placed third in Group B with six points while Angola (6) beat out Montenegro and Iceland for the runner-up slot in Group A.
