The quarter-finals of the IHF World Women’s Handball Championship takes place with host nation Brazil among the remaining eight and you can watch all the action live online.
Eight teams remain in the IHF World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil with all four matches taking place on Wednesday.
France, Croatia, Denmark, Brazil, Angola, Russia, Norway and Spain complete the quarter-final line-up.
France, who defeated Sweden 26-23 in the last round to reach this stage, will now face Russia on Wednesday at 1345 GMT. Russia sealed their place in the last eight with a 30-19 success over Iceland.
The second game of the day sees Angola and Denmark go into battle at 1630 GMT. Angola booked their spot in the quarters with a narrow 30-29 win over Korea, while Denmark got the better of Japan 23-22.
Croatia slipped past Romania 28-27 to set up a quarter-final clash against Norway, who ran out 34-22 winners over the Netherlands. This game will start at 1915 GMT.
The final quarter-final tie of the day sees host nation Brazil look to make the semis when they take on Spain. The hosts booked their spot thanks to a 35-22 win over the Ivory Coast, while Spain defeated Montenegro 23-19.
The winner of the World Championship will gain an automatic ticket to next year's London Olympics and the 2013 World Championship to be held in Serbia.
