There are two matches being streamed live from the NRL on Sunday with both the league leaders and defending champions in action.

League leaders Melbourne Storm travel to take on the Canterbury Bulldogs, while defending champions Manly Sea Eagles go to Sydney Roosters.

The two top teams in the NRL go head-to-head on Sunday with leaders Melbourne Storm taking on their nearest challengers in Canterbury Bulldogs.

The Doggies have started to hit some form and before Round 16 got underway they were situated in second place with 20 points.

Results before Sunday’s clash could see the Dogs drop out of second place, but they know that by picking up win number 10 they will close the gap on the Storm to four points.

The Doggies come into this Round 16 encounter on the back of a 28-20 win over St George Illawarra Dragons. Canterbury led 28-6 at one stage but they managed to hold off a Dragons fight back to claim the points.

The Storm are head and shoulders above their competition in 2012 and lead the way with 26 points and have only tasted defeat twice all season.

Craig Bellamy’s men come into this clash on the back of a hard-fought 26-22 win over defending champions Manly Sea Eagles last Monday.

Sydney Roosters are languishing in 13th place on the NRL ladder and are in danger of missing out on the play-offs if they do net get a winning roll going.

They have picked up six wins this season and come into this game on the back of a 42-28 win away at the Wests Tigers with Aidan Guerra, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Boyd Cordner, Braith Anasta, Lama Tasi, Mitchell Pearce and Martin Kennedy crossing the whitewash.

The Sea Eagles find themselves in eighth place and they could also miss out on the play-offs if they do not get their finger out in the second half of the season.

The champions crashed to a 26-22 defeat at the hands of league leaders Melbourne Storm last Monday and they will be looking to pick up win number nine.
