The total prizepool for the final table of this WPT Special Event is $1.4 million (including $200,000 added by PartyPoker.com) with $500,000 for first place, plus a $25,500 2012 WPT Championship seat which runs from 19th- 26th May at Bellagio in Las Vegas. The total prize pool for the PartyPoker.com Premier League V is $2.2 million.
Heading the final table as chip leader is UK pro Mathew Frankland, who qualified through a $700 online satellite on PartyPoker.com and who is now guaranteed a big six figure payday.
Joining him at the final table through finishing in the top three positions in their group are Daniel ‘Jungleman’ Cates, Sam Trickett, Patrik Antonius, Scott Seiver and Team PartyPoker.com pro Tony G. Qualifying via the heads-up play-offs to take their seats at the final table are Phil Laak and Tom Dwan.
The €3,200+€300 re-entry WPT Vienna Main Event, presented by PartyPoker.com, starts today and runs until 15th April. In addition, Montesino will also play host to the PartyPoker.com Big Game VI from 11th to 13th April.
The televised PartyPoker.com Big Game VI will run for 48 hours, right in the middle of the WPT Vienna Main Event and be streamed in full at PartyPoker.com with viewers able to get even closer to the action by voting on evictions. The starting line-up includes Mike Sexton, Phil Laak, Sam Trickett and Vanessa Selbst.
