Poker fans are in for a New Year treat in 2012 with live streaming coverage of the World Poker Tour Venice Final thanks to PartyPoker.it.

With a month to go before the tournament starts in Venice the main people in the running for the €3000+€300 re-entry main event at the Casino Di Venezia Ca’ Noghera include the likes of Arnaud Mattern, Roberto Romanello, Andrea Dato, Marvin Rettenmaier, Raffaele Bertolucci, Steve O’Dwyer, Roger Hairabedian and PartyPoker.it professional Giovanni Rizzo.
The first prize at the WPT Venice is €194,000, including a seat at the WPT World Championship at Bellagio in 2012.
International televised event in February
With the conclusion of ‘Little Venice’ before Christmas, all eyes now turn to the internationally televised WPT Venice Grand Prix taking place between 6 – 11 February 2012 at the historical Casino Di Venezia, reported to be the oldest casino in the world.
The €4,950 buy-in Main Tour event takes place during the famous carnival season in historic rooms with high ceilings featuring amazing water views and priceless artwork from the 16th and 17th century.
Last year, ‘Venetian Tuxedo Prince’ Allesio Isaia became the first Italian to win a major WPT title as he scooped €380,000.
