The Salford City Stadium will host its first ever Super League clash on Saturday the Reds hope to make it a fortress and give coach Phil Veivers a winning start.
Veivers, who took over from Matt Parish, at the end of last season has a full team to choose from with Jordan James, Matty Ashurst, Shannan McPherson, Ben Gledhill, Joel Moon and Stuart Howarth all in line for debuts.
Castleford have a new coach themselves with former St Helens, Wigan and Leigh boss Ian Millward replacing Terry Matterson who has returned home to Australia.
Millward will hand Super League debuts to Lee Mitchell and Josh Griffin, while Craig Huby, Paul Jackson, Grant Millington, Steve Snitch and Nick Youngquest are all out injured.
The City Reds are seen as the favourites to win this clash and can be backed at 8/11 with
