This evening's World Open qualifiers session completes the penultimate round of matches at the event with Alan McManus and Yu Delu both vying for a place in the final round.
McManus has enjoyed one of his better seasons in recent years this campaign, with the Scot making two quarter finals in the PTC tournaments and a last 16.
Yu Delu has fared slightly better, making two PTC quarter finals this season and the last 16 of two others. He also qualified for the German Masters and narrowly missed out on Australian Open qualification at the start of the season.
Delu claimed two scalps at the event this week in rounds one and two notching up a 136 break in the process, so comes into the match in form.
It could be argued he has more motivation than McManus to qualify for the World Open also, as it will be held in his home country China.
