UK Championship finalist Mark Allen leads the way after day one with three wins from his four games and will be hoping to produce his best attacking form to win through tomorrow.
Mark Selby will also be out to finally reach the Winner's Group at the fifth attempt; he has lost in three group finals so far but has earned the most prize money.
Ricky Walden made the highest break of day one (142), but still has work to do if he is to remain in the event as he currently occupies bottom spot in the group table.
The top four players at the end of tomorrow's group matches will advance to the Play-offs, where one player will win through to the Winner's Group, joining Neil Robertson, Judd Trump, Shaun Murphy and Mark Davis.
The bottom two will be eliminated, while the player finishing in fifth place will return to compete in Group Six alongside three new players.
The non-ranking tournament is streamed live exclusively through bookmakers sites, with matches played on two tables throughout the day in a race to three frames.
Action gets underway at 11am, with £100 awarded for each frame won and one point per win.
