Ding Junhui will be looking to prevent Ronnie O’Sullivan from retaining his Premier League title on Sunday night when they contest the Final.
China’s Ding managed to get a measure of revenge after defeating Judd Trump 5-3 in the semi-finals of the Premier League Snooker.
Trump had defeated Ding earlier this year in the World Championship Final at the Crucible, but the Chineseman evened it out with a strong performance in Norfolk.
Ding will now play reigning champion O’Sullivan as The Rocket won through to his eighth successive Premier League Final.
O’Sullivan was being pushed all the way by Mark Williams with the score locked at 2-2, before The Rocket turned on the style to win the last three frames to take a 5-2 triumph.
This should be an entertaining tussle and O’Sullivan is seen as the 4/9 odds-on favourite with Bet365 to retain his title, while Ding can be backed at 7/4.
The match begins at 7.30pm and will be streamed live from Potters Leisure Resort, Hopton on Sea, Norfolk with the 20 second shot clock in operation.
