The World Open snooker qualifiers continue on Friday with Liang Wenbo facing Michale White in the afternoon session.
This best of nine frames match is probably the pick of the today's action and Chinese hero Wenbo comes into it as slight favourite. He'll have plenty of incentive to keep his qualification bid alive too, as the tournament finals will be held in his home country.
Wenbo has failed to set the baize alight this season however and a lack of competitive action in recent weeks won't help his cause.
Michael White, in contrast to his opponent, has seen his ranking improve of late. He scores heavily and comes into this one on the back of an impressive 5-1 win over Aditya Mehta the second qualifying round.
White made light work of his opponent the last time these two met, in the qualifiers for the UK Championship, defeating Liang 6-2.
