Liang Wen Bo will qualify for the prestigious World Open in his home country of China next month if he beats Mark King on Saturday afternoon.
There are 16 qualifying places up for grabs at next month's tournament in Hainan at the final round of the World Open qualifiers in Sheffield today.
The final round winners will join the world's top 16 ranked players and eight wild cards at the event which is to be played from February 27 - March 4.
King and Wen Bo have met just once before with the honours going to the Chinese player.
