Snooker live streaming continues on Friday with a really exciting encounter. Two of the greatest players the game has ever produced meet at the Crucible for the first time in what promises to be an epic last 16 clash.
The match on everybody's lips features two Scottish stars of the sport going head-to-head in a potential classic as Stephen Hendry takes on John Higgins in the first two of their three allocated sessions.
The duo boast 11 world titles between them and are the two most successful snooker products ever to emerge from Scotland. They have provided some of the most memorable moments in the history of the game over the course of their glittering careers.
Defending champion Higgins was given a stern test against Liang Wenbo in round one but squeezed through a last frame decider to keep his hopes of a fifth world title very much alive.
The dust has settled on Hendry's incredible 147 way back on day one and the resurgent legend will be bullish about his chances of causing another upset of sorts after he breezed past Stuart Bingham to reach this stage having also had to qualify for the event.
Incredibly despite an array of World Championship appearances spanning two decades, the pair have never met in this event, but it is Higgins who holds a slightly better record with six victories to Hendry's five in the head-to-head.
They last met in a PTC event last November in a game which saw the Wizard of Wishaw prevail 4-3 over a much shorter format.
The bookmakers make Higgins the odds-on favourite at 1/3, with Hendry offering value at 9/4 to reach the Quarter-Finals with title sponsors
Betfred.
The match will be played over three session, with the first starting at 10am on Friday and the climax on Friday evening and Saturday.
It will be streamed live over the best of 25 frames from the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield.
