Both players came through a tough set of matches to reach this stage and will travel to Germany as two of the strong contenders for the £10,000 title.
They will be hoping for a good run to stand any chance of reaching the Grand Finals in March.
Despite dropping out of the top 16, Hendry appears to have recaptured some promising form on the tour and has proved he still has what it takes to live with the big boys.
Fu has also suffered a fall in the rankings but his good form at the UK Championship in York last month could galvanise the Asian star for the remainder of the season.
The duo have met five times in ranking events over the past two decades, with Hendry taking three victories to Fu's two.
