The World Open snooker qualifiers continue with an afternoon session on Friday featuring Mike Dunn's match against Tian Pengfei.

After a securing a remarkable comeback against Stuart Carrington in the first round - having trailed 4-0 before the interval only to come back to win 5-4, Pengfei secured a less dramatic 5-3 victory over Adrian Gunnell yesterday.

That win set up a third round encounter with Mike Dunn at 14:30 today.

The world's top 16 players are automatically seeded for the world ranking Haikou World Open tournamet on Hainan island in China. A further 16 players qualify from this event in Sheffield and Pengfei will be desperate to be among them and play in front of his home crowd next month.
