Europa League football and Premier League darts are just some of the live streaming treats on offer this Thursday.
It’s business time in the football season, both at home and in Europe, and on Thursday it’s the Europa League that takes centre stage with two big semi-final match-ups to look forward to.
It may be cast as the Champions League’s less-important little brother, but try telling Atletico Madrid and Valencia that the Europa League is a ‘Mickey Mouse’ competition ahead of their tie at the Vicente Calderon at 2005.
The evening's other tie is a Portuguese-Spanish affair which pits in-form Sporting against the conquerers of Manchester United Athletic Bilbao, also at 2005.
World Champion Adrian Lewis is hoping to go one better than the opening night of the season when he takes on Phil Taylor in McCoy's Premier League Darts at the BIC in Bournemouth on Thursday.
The stalemate in Manchester was the only time so far this season that Taylor has dropped points.
Lewis has registered two wins and a draw in his four Premier League meetings with Taylor since he became World Champion at the beginning of 2011.
In other sport on Thursday we can look forward to Brasilia Open beach volleyball, Spanish Open table tennis and badminton from the European Championships in Sweden.
